july Charity of the month: Corolla Wild Horse fund

  • About Corolla Wild Horse Fund

The Corolla Wild Horse Fund works to protect and preserve the wild Colonial Spanish Mustangs that roam freely along the northern Outer Banks. These horses have been here for centuries, and the Fund makes sure they stay safe and healthy through rescue efforts, vet care, habitat management, and public education. They’re also the team behind fun programs like Mustang Mornings and run a rescue farm and museum to help folks learn more about these amazing animals.

  • How you can support

You can support the Corolla Wild Horse Fund by donating, sponsoring a horse or hay for a day, becoming a member, or starting a fundraiser. Rental property owners can give back through the “Owners Are Donors” program, and volunteers are always welcome to help with events, education, and more. Every bit helps protect these historic wild horses.

We’ll be rounding up all month long at the brewery to support Corolla Wild Horse Fund.—so your spare change goes towards real change. Let’s raise a glass and make a difference!

  • 7/21 - percent day at Whalehead Brewery!

Join us in support of the Corolla Wild Horse Fund with a Percent Day on Monday, July 21. Come grab a pint and help protect the wild horses of the Outer Banks. A portion of all sales will be donated to their mission of conservation and care.
